Coffee Concentrate (For Iced Coffee)





Coffee Concentrate

Ingredients:
1 Quart sized Mason Jar with lid
1 cup Freshly Ground Coffee (unbrewed)
Water to Fill

Directions:
Add ground coffee to the mason jar.
Add water to completely fill the jar (about 3 and 1/2 cups). 
Let the grounds settle and absorb a bit.
Top off with additional water. 
Close the jar tightly.
Place in refrigerator for at least 12 hours. 
This will allow the coffee to "brew". 

Once the coffee has set overnight or for at least 12 hours, carefully strain. 
Reserve grounds to make another batch.

NOTE: Grounds can be re-used once before discarding.


To Make Iced Coffee:
Fill a glass with ice. 
Dilute 1 part coffee concentrate with 1 part milk, if desired.
(Water may be used in place of milk.)
