Ingredients:
1 cup of almonds
4 cups water
1 tsp vanilla
sweetener
Directions:
Place almonds in a bowl.
Cover with 2 and 1/2 cups water.
Soak overnight.
Drain.
Rinse.
Pour 4 cups of water in to blender.
Add rinsed almonds.
Blend for 1-2 minutes.
Add vanilla and sweetener to taste.
Mix well.
Use the milk as is for smoothies if you don't mind the pulp.
Or you can strain with cheesecloth or a thin dish towel and strainer.
* Homemade almond milk will keep covered and refrigerated for several days.
